Located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, KRD executed a turnkey interior transformation for an out-of-state client's newly built summer home. Working on an extraordinary three-month timeline to have the house ready for the 4th of July, our team carried the project from initial concept through procurement, trade management, and final installation. The design balances sophisticated lakefront living with elevated durability. The home features hand-painted wallcoverings, natural rattan and wood materials, and sculptural lighting, all resulting in a thoughtfully layered retreat tailored to the rhythms of lakeside life.

Taking a project from an empty shell to a fully realized home in just three months is virtually unheard of in high-end interior design. While KRD is intentionally selective about the work we take on, we made an exception for these lovely clients, whose absolute trust and collaborative spirit made saying yes an easy decision. With the owners living hundreds of miles away in Tennessee, our team served as their local boots on the ground, managing every contractor, delivery, and detail. By pairing durable, performance-driven materials with custom artwork celebrating their love of aviation and the lake, we delivered a turnkey summer retreat right on schedule.
